3 Tennessee House Representative who were all guilty of protesting out of turn regarding gun control inside the House Chamber, Tennessee Republican Majority voted to expel two of the three Legislators, once the votes was counted, Rep. Justin Jones and Rep. Justin J. Pearson both black men was expelled, Rep. Gloria Johnson a older white woman survived the vote and retained her seat.

The Tennessee Democrats called out the "Racial Dynamics" of the vote, Rep. Jones and Rep. Pearson said they will continue the fight and advocate for gun violence change.
