According to our sources close to the situation, a employee of the San Jose Valley Transportation Authority shot and killed 8 of his co-workers before turning the gun on himself. There was about 40 people in the facility when the gunfire erupted.

A number of other employees was taken to the hospital, 1 in critical condition and the shooting is now under investigation by the FBI and Santa Clara sheriff's office.
