The City of New York Police Department responded to a shooting and locked down the area of Amsterdam Avenue and West 163rd street in Washington Heights to investigate a shooting, a 31 year old man was shot in the face and taken to Harlem Hospital, the doctors said he is expected to live. NYPD took a number of suspects into custody for questioning but, they were all released a short time later.
