Actor Robert Blake aka Tony Baretta who was charged with shooting his ex-wife in the head but, was never convicted has died of a heart attack at his home. Mr. Blake was best known for playing the role of a detective in a 1970's television series called "Baretta". he also stared in a number of movies like "Money Train", Cold Blood, Lost Highway and a host of others. 

Robert Blake was 89 years old.
