Adnan Syed who was convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee and spent over 23 years in prison was released by Circuit Judge Melissa Phinn after she found some deficiencies in the prosecutors case. Mr. Syed has always said he was innocent and his case was bought to light after it was featured on the podcase show "Serial".
