Pod cast host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was ordered by the courts to pay nearly 1billion dollars in damages to the Sandy Hook School victims families in Newtown for falsely telling his followers that the shooting was a big hoax.

Alex Jones plans to appeal the sentence.
