Music Producer Metro Boomin just sold a portion of his music catalog publishing rights to Shamrock Capital for $70 million dollars. Metro Boomin produced records for artists like Migos, Post Malone, Quavo and The Weekend.

The bigger story is Shamrock Capital is buying out a number of publishing catalogs from well known music producers.
