The Chicago R&B Singer R Kelly was convicted by a jury and sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking and federal racketeering. Mr. Kelly's defense attorney asked the court for a 10 year or less sentence blaming his conduct on his childhood abuse and trauma.
