Singer, Actor and Civil Rights Leader Harry Belafonte who played a major role in the civil rights movement has died, Mr. Belafonte was also known for his acting role in the movie "Carmen Jones" and a number of other block buster movies.

Mr. Harry Belafonte died from heart failure, he was 96 years old.
