According to sources close to the situation, Cheryl White the ex-girlfriend who stabbed Mary J. Blige father Thomas Blige in the neck back in January was sentenced to 1 year in prison and had to pay a restitution of $17,290 to MJB for the hospital bills.

The stabbing took place in front of Mr. Blige's apartment building.
